Mossberg 940 JM Pro Review

The team at Rod & Rifle NZ have recently reviewed the Mossberg 940 JM Pro. 

The Mossberg 940 JM Pro is the result of two years’ development alongside Jerry and his daughter Lena Miculek. The goal in mind? To design the ultimate speed-shooting shotgun that would be competition ready straight out of the box. The 940 has a revamped look that’s easy on the eye and features several major enhancements over the 930 JM Pro. These improvements are not just visual either, as lots of attention has been paid to improve the performance, reliability and handling of this platform.

The complete overhaul of the previous 930 JM Pro provides us with a designated race gun and is almost unrecognisable when comparing both models. The 940 has been designed to perform under the demanding conditions in which 3-gun and tactical competitors operate; these disciplines require high-volume shooting with an emphasis on rapid fire and quick reloads.
